Born in Garopaba (Brazil) in 1990, Luah Marques is a dancer, choreographer, teacher and director. Co-artistic director of the dance company Les Oiseaux Perchés with Julien Rossin since 2023 and founder of OOD - Ou l'On Danse. Co-founder of Collectif B - training of dancers in Marseille.
She trained from a young age in Classical, Contemporary and Hip Hop dance - breaking, popping, hip hop freestyle. At 2010 she moved to São Paulo, collaborated with Cia Anacã, Grupo Gente, among others. 2014, Luah began her studies in vertical dance and joined the Cia Base, then in 2018 she worked with Artur Faleiros in the circus project "Malabamétrico" as movement director.
Between France, Spain and Brazil since 2018 she currently collaborates with the Cie Itinerrances|Pôle 164, Cie Vol Plané, Les Cie Les Têtes Bêches, Cie Nava Rasa, Transe Express and Gugie Cavalcanti - friend and visual/urban artist.
Associate with Échappée Belle - Théâtre-École, Festival de Marseille, Mesonée in Correns, Espir - Intelligence Collective.
Currently Luah co-creates and performs the creations “ALTO”, and “Pulse” (2024-25).
She develops several Educational Projects for the general public in Marseille with Klap Maison pour la danse, the Baumettes Penitentiary Center, ZEF Scène Nationale de Marseille, Marseille School of Fine Arts, the Pierre Barbizet Conservatory, Festival de Marseille, FreeZone - Barcelona.
